Documents first.
The story follows.
Explore the records behind the research: securities enforcement, business filings, public funding and court cases. Each file has a source, a date, and a clear boundary around what it proves.
File 01 / Government action
A securities order with a follow-up record.
The Illinois Secretary of State issued a temporary prohibition on December 31, 2008 against MGP Global Real Estate and Gregory E. Perkins, file 0800097. The official index also lists an Order of Prohibition dated July 31, 2009.
The 2009 order states that the respondents did not request a hearing within the prescribed period, were deemed to admit the facts in the temporary order, and that those findings were adopted as final. This is an administrative securities enforcement record. It is not presented as a criminal conviction.
File 02 / Public funding
$320,237.68 in current PPP approvals.
Two SBA rows for Pinnacle Asset Management in Orland Park identify loans approved in April 2020 and January 2021. The source also reports forgiveness, job counts and the originating lender.
Corporate filings from the GSE archive add date-specific manager listings. Funding, corporate roles and allegations remain separate evidence categories.
File 03 / Federal bankruptcy
Read the ownership and compensation representations.
The debtor’s July 26, 2022 plan in case 22-04773, docket 88, describes a $1 interest transfer involving Antonio Barnes and compensation restrictions. These are debtor assertions, not court findings or proof of authorization.

The operative orders, later modifications and payment records still need to be matched.
File 04 / Labor hearing calendars
Four claim numbers. Posted hearing settings.
Official IDOL calendars list 23-0002234 on January 8, 2026 at 11 a.m.; and 23-0001606, 23-0003891 and 24-0000067 on February 2, 2026 at 9:30, 10 and 10:30 a.m. respectively.
Calendars establish scheduled settings. They do not establish claimant identity, employer, amount, award or disposition.

The official state index supplies the follow-up order. Check the complete agency history for any later modifications before describing the restriction as current.

Pinnacle annual report
The archive copy of Illinois file 05492041 lists Gregory E. Perkins as manager. This is a role reported at that filing date.
September 1, 2021
A later manager snapshot
The next reviewed Pinnacle report lists Shayla Butler and Tiffany Perkins in the manager section. A filing’s role label does not establish an ownership percentage or application signer.
How to read this investigation
A complaint describes allegations. An order records a decision.
A filed complaint does not establish every statement as true. An order may address only a particular issue, party or period. Read its operative language and later case history before drawing a conclusion.
Similar names need an identity match.
A shared name or address is a research lead. Match entity file numbers, jurisdiction, dates and the underlying document before merging people or companies. Separate legal entities retain separate records.
Money totals need a category.
Loan approvals, forgiveness, claims, judgments and bankruptcy liabilities describe different things. They may overlap. They should not be added together and described as theft, current debt or loss.
Private evidence receives a separate review.
The GSE archive includes tax correspondence, signed documents and other sensitive files. Private originals are retained for source review. Personal identifiers, signatures, banking details and unrelated personal records are excluded from these public research pages.

The separate Tavern on Lagrange II LLC filings
Illinois file 08288372. The November 18, 2019 articles and May 20, 2021 annual report list Tiffany Perkins and Shayla Butler as managers. The January 6, 2022 and March 28, 2023 annual reports list Antonio Barnes as manager and in the executing-name field. See PDF pages 6–10.
A 2021 reinstatement concerns the LLC’s legal status. It does not by itself prove commercial operations. Keep this LLC separate from Tavern on Lagrange Corp.
How the filings connect to the funding and court records
The funding review documents two Pinnacle PPP records and a canceled Tavern Hospitality Group Holdings LLC 7(a) approval. Those are different borrowers. Similar names, addresses or reported roles do not prove that the same person signed an application or received its proceeds.
The July 26, 2022 bankruptcy plan, case 22-04773, Doc. 88, discusses ownership transfers, an earlier SBA denial and compensation restrictions. These are the debtor’s representations in a filing. Compare the actual transfer documents, application records and operative court orders before drawing conclusions.
What remains disputed: Barnes says particular listings and income were unauthorized. A name printed in an annual report does not establish who submitted it, whether the named person consented, beneficial ownership, or wrongdoing. Joseph Bradley is not established here to be an alias of Gregory Perkins.
