PerkinsExposed is a public-record research and evidence-documentation project. This policy explains how submitted and public-record information is handled.
Information Collected
Private intake may include contact details, role or business relationship, dates, monetary amounts, descriptions, case information and documents voluntarily submitted by the user. The research database may also index lawfully available public records.
Private Intake
Private intake submissions are not automatically published. They may be reviewed, corroborated, preserved and used for research or legal evaluation before any public presentation.
Public Records
Public court, corporate, property, bankruptcy, regulatory and similar records may be indexed and displayed when relevant and lawfully available. Inclusion of a person or entity does not itself establish wrongdoing.
Sharing
Submitted information may be shared with attorneys, investigators, litigation-support providers, courts or government agencies when reasonably necessary for legal review, verification, compliance with law or protection of rights. PerkinsExposed does not sell private intake submissions to advertisers.
Security and Retention
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used. Records may be retained while relevant to research, litigation, verification or legal obligations. No internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Corrections
Anyone who believes a public factual statement or relationship is inaccurate may submit corrective source material for review.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Submitting information does not create an attorney-client relationship, guarantee representation, or guarantee inclusion in any litigation.
